On July 13,Hawaiian Airlines will begin service between KIX and Honolulu 7 flights a week.
Including these flights, KIX offers 21flights a week between KIX and Honolulu by 3 different airlines.
According to a survey by a travel magazine in Japan, Hawaii was the most satisfying destination for Japanese in 2010. It indicates a high demand among a wide range of Japanese and these additional flights would be welcomed by many passengers.
[Air China Cargo]
On March 31, Air China Cargo will begin cargo service between KIX, Dalian, and Shanghai 3 flights a week.
The large-sized aircraft, Boeing 747-400F is going to be operated for these flights. It is expected that these flights will strengthen the cargo network between the Kansai region and Eastern north China.

Art works will be exhibited from March 12 to May 8 on the 4th floor at Kansai International Airport (KIX).
This is part of an art project to make Osaka a 'canvas' by displaying the works of 23 artists/groups at 12 locations throughout Osaka prefecture.
5 works, for example, a huge child's umbrella, a revolving 3-D world map, and A huge jigsaw puzzle combining pieces painted by artists from over the world, are going to be exhibited at KIX.
