Kansai International Airport Co., Ltd was formed jointly with investment capital from the national government, local governments and the private sector, in order to construct and operate Kansai International Airport.
Kansai International Airport has the following features:
- Japan's first international airport to be operational round-the-clock with multiple 4,000-meter class runways
- An offshore airport designed to preserve the natural environment
- Extensive network of international and domestic routes to make transit extremely easy and fast
- Easy access by railway, limousine bus, high-speed ferry, etc.
It is a truly user-friendly airport designed to cater to the diverse needs of customers.
At present, we are in the process of completing our second phase of construction to enable future expansion.
